Frequently Asked Questions
At Blossom, we follow a unique and enriched curriculum rooted in the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and thoughtfully enhanced by globally respected educational philosophies, including Reggio Emilia, Emmi Pikler, and Maria Montessori.
Our approach blends the structure and developmental goals of EYFS with the child-led exploration of Reggio Emilia, the respectful care principles of Emmi Pikler, and the independence-building methods of Montessori. These are further informed by the latest neuroscience research, allowing us to deliver a holistic, personalized learning experience that supports every aspect of a child’s development.
We also recognize and celebrate the cultural richness of the communities we serve. In some of our nurseries in Abu Dhabi, we proudly offer classrooms that reflect a strong Emirati heritage, helping children connect with local values, language, and traditions from an early age.
This integrated and culturally responsive curriculum ensures children are well-prepared for a seamless transition to any school system, whether IB, British, French, or other international pathways, while nurturing confident, capable, and curious learners.
Absolutely. At Blossom, inclusion is not just a policy, it is a core value. We believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine in a nurturing and respectful environment.
Our commitment to inclusive education means we welcome children with a wide range of abilities and learning needs. Our dedicated SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) and Inclusion Specialists work hand in hand with classroom educators to design individualized learning plans tailored to each child’s strengths, needs, and developmental goals.
To further support families, we collaborate with six early intervention centers across the UAE, allowing specialists to work with children directly within our nursery setting. This integrated approach ensures consistency in care, reduces disruption, and provides a seamless experience for both children and parents.
At Blossom, inclusion means every child is seen, supported, and celebrated, just as they are.
All our teachers and teaching assistants are fully qualified according to Dubai and Abu Dhabi regulations and possess extensive experience in early childhood education. Our Teams consistently undergoes regular training and professional development to stay updated on the latest best practices, including pediatric first aid, safeguarding, and fire safety, especially with Inspire Me Training
At Blossom, we prioritize quality care. We do not employ unqualified staff, such as nannies or babysitters. Your child will always be under the supervision of highly qualified early years professionals
Babies (45 days to 1 year)
We welcome babies as young as 45 days old, offering warm, sensory-rich environments that reflect their home routines. With a strong focus on bonding, emotional security, and early communication, our baby rooms support healthy brain development through gentle care and responsive interactions.
Toddlers (1 to 3 years)
Toddlers are natural explorers. We guide their curiosity through play-based learning, motor development, early language, and independence-building. Our environments are thoughtfully designed to encourage movement, self-expression, and positive social interactions.
Preschoolers (3 to 4+ years)
Our preschoolers dive deeper into purposeful learning. Through project-based activities, early literacy and numeracy, and social-emotional development, we prepare children for a smooth transition to school. In some centers, we welcome children up to 4 years old in Abu Dhabi and up to 5 years old in Dubai, supporting their readiness for both local and international curricula including IB, British, and French schools.
While English is our core language of instruction, we integrate both French and Arabic into the weekly learning experience across all age groups. These language sessions are thoughtfully woven into our curriculum to support early multilingual development, cultural awareness, and confident communication from the very start.
